April 24, 200719 yr Author Komora was behind the whole Marvin Stone fiasco. Add Tyler Zeller to the BCG checklist.
April 24, 200719 yr Remember that Komora was Tyler Smith's AAU coach, and you know he's going to be a factor in Smith's new school. Plus the SE Elite team is LOADED this year... Info? Players?
April 24, 200719 yr Info? Players? #15 Romero Osby, UC verbal Darnell Wilks and top 150 PG Courtney Fortson are the big name 08 guys on the roster.
April 24, 200719 yr Here's the thing about Greg Monroe. Even though Kentucky has Monroe very high on their priority list, I'm not so sure how high Kentucky is on his list. On rivals they don't even have UK on Monroes very long untrimmed list. This could be that they haven't updated or something, but it still don't look too good to me. There is still a way BCG can weasle himself in, but Monroe is a definite long shot IMO. Does anyone have any links to anything that shows Monroe with even a slight interest to UK?
April 24, 200719 yr Darius Miller Willie Warren Beas Hamga Brandon Jennings J'mison Morgan Those are the guys I think they go hard after....
April 24, 200719 yr Author Morgan still has a lot of development to go through. Obviously Miller is priority #1. Much depends on scholarships. But I'd say it is Miller, Warren, and then a post player depending on how they finish this year.
April 24, 200719 yr Monroe and Miller would be the two highest targets, IMO. Monroe is a longshot in my mind. Miller is vary attainable though.
April 25, 200719 yr Miller definitely. Monroe if he (BCG) is as good as many say. Isn't Cyprien close with Monroe's dad?
April 25, 200719 yr I'm to the point that if Lucas comes, fine...If he doesn't, fine... He's a solid PG, but, as others have pointed out, he's very small and will have a hard time against bigger and stronger guys... I don't see him as a make em or break em player... I think most want him here to lure Patterson, but, I'm not so sure UKs not better off going after Sanchez and leaving an extra scholly for next year...
April 25, 200719 yr Author Tubby was in on plenty of top shelf guys, just couldn't close. I think Billy is going to raise Kentucky's recruiting profile, but he doesn't get props just yet. OTS's nets were never cast this wide for a long while. Eepecially for kids in thte junior and soph classes. It is actually fun to follow recruiting again.
April 25, 200719 yr Monroe is a longshot in my mind. Miller is vary attainable though. If Monroe is a longshot, then Drew Gordon, out of San Jose, California needs to be next, IMO. He is a 6-9 240 lb. post player. :thumb:
April 29, 200719 yr Author Add Tony Woods from Atlanta to the offered category. Athletic big kid from Atlanta. Florida may be in the driver's seat. Romero Osby said UK is recruiting him harder than anyone, today...Coach Cox was in on Friday to see him.
