Lewis Morris-Bell County's new basketball coach

Featured Replies

Why has Morris bounced around so much? The guy seems like a decent coach at the very least, but he's been hopping all over eastern Kentucky and east Tennessee the last few years. Hazard twice?

What's the deal?

That, and what happened to the story I kept hearing a few months ago that he was leaving the coaching profession because his wife was ill? I've yet to get an answer on this one, despite asking it a few times.

I have not heard anything about his wife being ill. She is a teacher in Bell County right now. She is a very good teacher from what I understand.

Looks like Warren #30 and #2 Zachary will be carrying the load For the Cats.....

Nomorenoless......Day is a senior and Strange a Junior next year.

Yes, but I would be on the lookout for some new faces next year now that Bell has a different coach.

I wonder if the AD will be able to watch the games now and keep his personal views to himself? I don't think AD's or any administrator should be making comment to the public or at games.

What was said? If your going to accuse Coach Hilton of something just come out and say it.

That was the story that was floating around as to why he was leaving Hazard and that there would be an opening there for Holland. Guess I was misinformed by a few people.

Hazard ran off a pretty about this time last year.

Blanket accusations will get you nowhere. I would like to hear this as well.

As for what they will have next year, I wouldnt be surprised to see a few more kids come out that havent in the past.

Who is the front runner for Hazard?

She may have something wrong, I have no idea, its not really any of my business, but I do know she is a school teacher in Bell County.

I think it's already a done deal that Perry Central coach Al Holland will be taking over next year.

Goodluck to coach Morris i think he is a pretty good coach. I think he will help them out quite a bit.
