SvFan4life Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Tim Duncan gets 1 technical for saying something then a little later a foul was called on the Spurs and Tim Duncan was shown laughing at someting, don't know what, and Joey Crawford ejects him after giving him a second technical. There was nothing said, the replay showed it and Crawford was too far away for him to be able to interpret anything from it. Right after a offensive foul is called on the Spurs beacuse Josh Howard runs dives into a Spurs player that is setting a screen. And of course this game is in Dallas!
Hangman Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Joey Crawford is notorious for taking the game out of player's hands and putting it on himself... This is nothing new.
Wireman Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 That looked pretty ridiculous, even though I'm cheering for Dallas.

Announcers were saying he's a good ref but in no way did he have any right to call that 2nd technical. They also said Crawford must have thought Duncan was "showing him up" by laughing. but it's hard to tell what Duncan was laughing at because other players were also laughing.
DragonFire Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Yeah, I saw this and almost posted it myself. Pretty ridiculous. He may have thought Duncan was laughing at the call, which he probably was, but jeez, that's a little far to go in giving a technical.

NBA players are known for laughing during a game and just talking and stuff, unless Duncan actually said something to him there was no just in that call. Wonder how much he pockted from Mark Cuban for getting rid of Duncan?

SvFan4life Posted April 15, 2007 Author Posted April 15, 2007 You have got to be kidding me..... It was just a light joke because of how much Mark Cuban whines about not getting calls and stuff...Just a little humor!:thumb:

halfback20 Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 That was an awful call, and probably cost the Spurs the W.
UKPat02 Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 For those of you who didn't see it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGeNWwBN5bQ
Wireman Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 That was an awful call, and probably cost the Spurs the W. Along with 2nd place in the Western Conference!
