April 11, 200719 yr Do the Titans now have to try and draft a quality corner or special temas guy than can start right away?
April 11, 200719 yr I think Pacman will grow up, but IMO it will be after he can no longer play pro ball and no one cares who he is. He will see how he has waisted his life, I put Henry in the same category.:irked:
April 11, 200719 yr So will his salary count against the cap or is it freed up now? And I would like to say this is a great move by the NFL, I know if I did the things these guys do i would get fired
April 11, 200719 yr Good, I'm tired of people being leinient with these thugs... I second this motion!
April 11, 200719 yr I don't agree with this at all. They absolutely do not sit around and dream of all the minds they can mold with positive behavior. They grow up being able to run fast, jump high and catch knowing that this will make them rich and famous, able to have shoe contracts, parties and starlets. Heck, several were getting in trouble through high school and college. It didn't just START happening!!! Sure they get in trouble throughout high school and college. But enough is enough and eventually they need to grow up. Once they get to the NFL and are 23 or 24 years old, they should be mature enough to not make the studpid decisions they're making and start focusing on how to keep others from making the same dumb decisions they made because they have a bigger impact on young kids, being a pro athlete, sometimes more than their own parents do. Also, I never said they sit around waiting to see how many minds they can mold. I simply stated by the time they get to the NFL and realize the opportunity they have, they should realize it's time to start growing up and prevent others from making the same dumb mistakes they did. Remember actions speak louder than words.
April 11, 200719 yr So will his salary count against the cap or is it freed up now? I was wondering the same thing. I'm assuming it's freed up, so IMO they should use that toward getting a solid free agent on the defensive side of the ball.
April 11, 200719 yr I just heard on ESPN Radio that Pacman's agent has said that Pacman will probably return to Morgantown, enroll in school and work out with the football team. This has the potential for some unprecedented unintentional comedy--I smell reality series. Seriously though if he's sincere in his efforts maybe this is the first step towards getting straightened out.
April 11, 200719 yr I either see him being like Tommy Lee at Nebraska or getting arrested for messing with underage girls
April 20, 200719 yr Pacman buys newspaper ad for open letter to fans http://sportsline.com/nfl/story/10139145
