Seems like a lot of Funeral Home owners live there also. I saw a show on MTV about it once. Something about living in a funeral home anyway.

 

I once worked at a landfill that my dad owned. Talk about a nasty job...

Also, being a County Coroner has to be tiring. People dieing at all times of the night. Talk about a messed up sleep schedule.

You'd actually be surprised. All kinds of interesting garbage came through there. I once came across a bank envelope that had 300 bucks in it. I also found a wallet that had 130 in it. One time a guy's wife brought a chest out and threw it away, she was having their master bedroom remodeled while her husband was out of town as a surprise. Turns out the chest had a few thousand dollars hid somewhere inside. The guy called but it had already been compacted and had dirt spread over it by then.

 

The nastiest thing that was brought out there was dead animals by the dog pound. Or dead horses or cows that farmers brought.

 

The cops used to come out there and throw away pounds and pounds of weed and other drugs after they raided places. Of course they stood there and made sure that it was taken care of before they left.
