They don't lose anything from a team that won the NIT and was a very questionable exclusion from the Big Dance....

My question on WVU would be are the returning players the type that fit Huggins system? Imo they are not and it will take an adjustment period and some of Huggins recruits. Do not count out Michigan on being much improved, imo Belein will have them believing in themselves again and playing well.

I would like to think our very own Coach Gillispie, but I think Coach Smith will have the most improve team over last year's team.JMO

Tubby's team will have the most improvement, but I don't have much doubt the most successful coach will be Billy G...

Guys, this is not about who will be the most improved. It is who will have the best season...

Most wins?

Advance the farthest?

Best season as compared to expectations?

 

This question can be answered in a variety of different ways and all be correct.

The middle two seem like actual things that would be considered "success."

 

But, look at Minnesota. They had 9 wins last year.. Let's say they go 16-14 next season, which is seven more wins than they had last season, but Kentucky goes 28-6, which is only six more wins than last year. I think you would consider Kentucky as being the success, even though Minnesota had the biggest improvement.

Guys, this is not about who will be the most improved. It is who will have the best season...

Well in that case then, UK and Coach Gillispie will have the best season.:thumb:

Most improved = Gophers

Better season = Cats

Most interesting = Mountaineers

Who cares = Wolverines

It depends on your definition of success. I think Tubby will be successful, but Minnesota wont win more games than UK, WVA, or Mich.

I think either UK or WVA will be the most successful, depending on what WVA has coming, back and what recruits each school gets from here on out.
