What does Augusta have coming back?

I know Hardymon was a sr., what about White and Staggs?

Hardymon, White, Groves and Cummins were all seniors.

I believe they return two starters, Staggs and Shawn White who will take over point guard duties from his older brother.

Chris Mofford will be called upon for scoring next year as well as his already honed defensive ability.

The rest is probably still up in the air. Losing four seniors always takes a toll on a small school like A-Town.

Brayde Hamilton will probably fill a position. I have heard some talk that PG Derrick Fryman will be returning to the team. This could help the Panthers if Fryman comes with the right attitude and plays hard. Ryan Kelsch will fill the Matt Groves roll as a deep threat.

They will bring back Staggs, Hamilton, Fryman?, and Crouch all seniors

Mofford, Krebs, S. White, Kelsch, Harggett, Gray all Juinors.

Also A few underclassmen with alot of work to do.

Who will start and who will play will depend on who shows up and puts the extra work in over the summer. The only "full time" starter returning is Staggs. Hamilton, Fryman and S. White did not start as many games.

I look for Ryan Kelsch to have a big year. He has had the best shot on the team since he's been in high school, but injuries and inexperience have kept him from seeing the floor on varsity. This year though with 4 seniors gone he will be called upon to fill some major holes. His defense and ball handling are two areas he needs to improve on, which he has already improved on slightly since last season ended, but theres still work to be done. After a full summer schedule and fall workouts I look for him to be ready to breakout once the season begins.

I think Augusta will have another good season, if not better.

i agree with you AHSpanther23 i think they might have a better team than they had last year because they dont have a 1 man team everybody on the team will get to see the ball next year......

This team could very well contend for an All A title with the right attitude. The talent is there for sure. Deming(with the Kings) and Augusta are right there together again with St. Patrick. Brossart should be down,so these 3 are in the mix. A question off the subject. Is there any way that the AD or whoever is in charge of such things please change those atrocious striped shorts? Uniforms along the lines of what Syracuse or Oklahoma State wear(orange teams) would be suffice and not as embarassing. Looking good means a lot to kids, you'd be surprised.

Why those are old school shorts! I think they have some age on them but the A-Town Orange ones are just a few years old.

Is Ryan Kelch any relation to the All American that coaches at BC Patrick Kelsch.

I believe patrick was known as' SWEET STRING MUSIC KELSCH"

They are related, but as far as comparing them on the courts its too hard to do. Although, Ryan is a good shooter, just like most Kelsch's are!

I would also call him a long distance threat, as most Kelsch's are!
