March 23, 200719 yr The heck with my favorite team. So what else does UofL have coming back, besides Brohm. When does spring practice start? When is the spring game? Come on. Let's talk Cardinal Football.Offensively we return darn near everyone. We lose a couple spots on the O-line with Quarterman and Foster departing however we have great young talent at that position that has seen a lot time rotated into the lineup. Obivously our running game will look a little different without Kolby Smith or Bush but we know Bush didn't play last season and the RB by commitee did a good deal to build experiance with Anthony Allen and Brock Bolen not to mention the freshman out of Illinois who was a high recruit. We probably have the best WR core in college football with two IMO NFL talents in Urrutia and Harry Douglas. Defensively we lose Okoye, but we have always reloaded on the defensive line and we have big name talent with players like Whitehead and some redshirted guys who have yet to see the light of day. The linebacking and secondary of the defense is not steller by name but they have been playing a great deal with the heavy rotation that Cassidy has in his system, should be as solid and experianced a defense as Louisville has had in a long time. The Big question is how will the players react to the new coach. Most Louisville fans are putting on a happy face about the Kragthorpe hire, but the truth is we still don't know what we are getting and we won't unitl the season starts. Big East football was so exciting last year that everyone is geared up for a repeat. It should be a great season. I think the Spring game is at the end of April. I'll be there this year.

March 23, 200719 yr What about WVA? The game is in Morgantown this time around.Aside from a blown call, Louisville had that one in hand 2 years ago. Still shouldn't have lost, but there it is. Louisville will beat WVU because of the difference in defense between the teams. I'm more worried about the trip to RJS.

March 24, 200719 yr Could be exciting though. The WVA game is just prior to flying down here. UofL could come into the "Community Investment Tax Stadium" 10-0 with Rutgers on the horizon.
March 24, 200719 yr This season is scary because the schedule isn't as loaded as last year's..UK, USF, WVU, and RU....U of L will certainly win three of those...one will be very scary...focus for 60 minutes is the issue...I expect Coach K to have that figured out.
