You people just dont get it. Sometimes the right kid gets rewarded for EVERYTHING that makes them great. Congrats to a great kid, student-athlete, and oh yeah; one heck of a ball player. Good luck at Cumberland if you are reading this and remember

Matt daniel got player of the year in the kabc coaches poll and

 

Jon Vanhoose got player of the year in the ekc with 13 out of 16 coaches voting right? They had already voted for the kabc player of the year before his knee injury so that had nothing to do with it. Im just not totally sold on how if Vanhoose got Ekc Player of the year with 13 of 16 coaches in the region and didnt get kabc player of the year..? Vanhoose did have 42 against rowan and DANIELS was the only one gaurding him unless rowan was in zone!:flame: :flame:

In my respect Matt Daniels is a great player and a great all around guy. But im not totally sold on him being the player of the year!

Did you get a vote? Find a way to get one then. I did.

Just cracks me up how people come up with conspiracy therories and so forth over someone getting a well deserved honor. I think Matthew is a great representative of this region and I applaude whoever voted for him. By the way, a weaker supporting cast does not make it easier to "pad" ones own stats. It makes it easier however for another coach to prepare for someone since they do not have as many weapons to worry about.

The theory of player who get's the award goe's to all star game sound's logical. Not saying Matt wouldn't have won anyway, but I assume everyone is thinking HOOSE, and he was deserving to, but unable to play so Matt got it!!

If that's the case, I applaud the coach's for sending a rep. to all star's. If not I still applaud them because it could have went to either player! Both got the biggest award, and that is a scholarship. CONGRAT'S TO TWO FINE YOUNG MEN!!!!!!!!!
