March 16, 200719 yr This was a disappointing season for me. Why? Duke was not nearly athletic enough to "really" compete this year, at least not for the title. I said it all along that this season would be mightily disappointing (but then I ammended that), Duke had no senior leadershi this year, and really won't have much next. I am so excited for Duke's future, that the "once a decade debacle" if you could even call it that, is more than cool with me. 99.9% of the folks on this site, would trade "their lifetime's" history with their favorite team, with that of Duke. Good, not great, season boys....see you next fall :thumb:
March 16, 200719 yr Oh btw, I decided Tuesday night to pick VCU over Duke. Duke has problems with athletic teams who can take them off the dribble. Great win! It has been an issue for the last two seasons, it won't next year
March 16, 200719 yr Josh McRoberts laid an egg. The more I watch him play the less impressed I am with him especially over the last few weeks. Boy does he struggle with quicker defenders. To think he may have been a lottery pick. here's some egg in your face: Josh McRoberts - 40 min. - 22 pts. - 12 reb. - 4 asst. - 5 blk Not too shabby if you ask me.

March 16, 200719 yr When I saw this team play with a Geroge Mason team who hasn't lost hardly anyone from that final four team, I knew they were at least winning their first round game! FYI, from GM's website.
