Amen.....And that is my point!!! And when you get them, develop them!!! :ylsuper:

But at least get them.:D

A very good point...but in each case, changes were made....Even I realize that you cannot win the championship EVERY year...But..at least an Elite 8 in 10 years would give hope!!! You cannot expect an elite eight from an 8 seed 1 time in 20!!!!

Well Kansas's coach left to coach UNC which brought them their 1st title in 12 years. (I realize that it was Roy's decision and that KU would still have him as their coach). KU hasn't really done anything better lately than they had under Williams.

Assuming that they do not make an Elite 8 this year that would still be 4 in the last 10 years so I'm not sure what that point is about. We have 8 more years to make an Elite 8 to keep hope alive.

UK should NEVER have to worry about getting them!! And that is what bothers me!!

Things are the same as they were 10 years ago. A lot has changed and parity is at its best right now. 5 years ago the average margin of victory for a 1 over 16 seed was 30 last year it was 15.

:D

It comes and goes UK will be back on top.

I agree with this.....but geeeze I'm getting impatient.

And all those teams went through periods where things weren't so rosey. UK is in that period now....No need to worry, they'll be back.

GO COLONALS!!!!!

And that's exactly what they will do.....GO....

.....back to Richmond.

I'd like to see them win, they're my alma mater. But I'm a know that's not likely to happen.

And they did....but they better return to Richmond with their heads held high because for 10 minutes last night they gave the Heels all they wanted...a great effort...they represented the OVC well!:thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

To answer the original question, yes and no.

Yes it bothers me that UK is an 8 seed. I would like to see us improve and I am hopeful that we will. Our current position that we are in with the program is not up to snuff with the standards of UKs expectations. I expect better and so yes, I am disappointed.

But my disappointment is confined to our own performance. My feelings about UK isnt affected by what the UNCs, Kansas, Dukes and UCLAs of the world are doing. It doesn't bother me when they do well, and I don't celebrate when they fail. I just don't have that much emotion about how they are playing.
