March 14, 200719 yr Only way that's going to happen is for Tubby to win a National Championship or UK to fire Tubby....you are right but omitted two words...."every year" I once heard, someone I admire say...."Can't satisfy some, because they already know more than me, they think".... It applies to fans and Coaches.
March 14, 200719 yr Laugh if you will but did you ever think fans would be saying more positive things about. 1st-baseball 2nd-football 3rd-basketball No times are not the same as 30 yrs. ago, but you dont see N.C.- Duke taking 10 yrs. between at least being a threat. I thought you were suppose to be talking about UK in this thread, but you say it takes 10 years in between to even be a threat. So I guess you must not be talking about UK now, because before the last 2 years we were REAL THREATS for 3 or 4 straights years. So the team you are talking about must not be UK...:sssh: I really love it how some people act like UK has been terrible for 10 straight years, its really funny how quickly people forget...
March 14, 200719 yr Here's a quote, that anyone can copy and paste, into any UK thread.... NO college basketball team, is rated #1 every year they play. Some will experience highs and others lows. Expectations of fans, are often unrealistic every year. Recruiting is becoming more difficult, with some leaving early and talent, is getting spread across the nation. The sky is not falling in Lexington, although some want to claim it is. For the record, what happened 30 years ago at UCLA, doesn't equate to any real comparisons, other than 27-29yrs ago....:thumb: :thumb: Well said.
March 16, 200719 yr Too bad that will never happen. Even if Tubby left, they'd find another dead horse. There's no doubt about that, after all Lexington is the horse capital of the world.
