Okay, this is part III in this series this season with the previous two going to Valley. Pikeville is playing arguably their best ball of the year though, I think it'll be a tightly contested game.

 

The game will be tomorrow night following the girls championship game at the Expo Center in Pikeville. Should start at around 8 pm.

Hopefully Shelby Valley doesnt call a timeout like they did last year that cost them the regional title.

Could happen but Valley would need to play lot better than they have so far ... It could be who is hot that night and if Pikeville can hold Hatfield to 10 or 12 ..... Hatfield has killed Pikeville this year ...

I don't think Valley will run away with the game at all tomorrow. I think Pikeville is playing awfully well right now and with a lot of confidence. I'm looking for a very close game.

I agree ..... When the draw was made I was thinking the top bracket was loaded but watching the games not sure ....... Valley with wins over Betsy Layne & Belfry & Pikeville with wins over Magoffin County & Allen Central ..... I think Pikeville has the beat wins ..... ??

I don't think anyone ahs scored 80 on Pikeville all year. Come to think of it, I can't name a time when someone score 70 on them, not even Shelby Valley or Paintsville. The score will probably be in the 50s or 60s.

Looks like SV has won three games over the Panthers al by double digits. Previous wins mean nothing in a one game set but I'd think SV would be the safe choice.

Shelby Valley is a very good team and even though they are young they have too much experience for Pikeville, due to AAU and off season basketball, unreal how many games these guys have already played together. They have depth and a GREAT point guard, I have seen them 3 or 4 times and I enjoy watching them very much. If they take care of business they will be fun to watch at Rupp Arena

Actually Perry County Central scored 80 on them and Pike County Central scored 70.
