Boone's gym is suppose to be identical to Ryle's w/maybe a few differences. But size is not one of them

...and where would you park ?

The only down side to the new Boone gym compared to Ryle, is parking... Not very much at Boone....of course compared to the parking lot at Holmes my driveway has more.....:D

3ptshooter: Me thinks that the AD's and Coaches just might not want to give Fookes any advantage at all next year.....:thumb:

I'm 99.9% sure that they KHSAA sets ticket prices and policy. $6 seems to be the going rate for tournament action in both football and basketball .

Secondly, clearing the gym is the smart thing to do. It gives the fans of all 4 teams playing that night a chance to get in and see the game. If you did not clear the gym, you take the chance of the first game having a huge crowd and not enough of them leaving the game to accomodate the huge crowd for the 2nd game. IF you're a fan trying to get into the 2nd game, you've not going to be very happy if fans from the previous game take your seat.

Quit bashing Conner. They're simply following policy.

I checked the KHSAA website about ticket prices but couldn't find anything in the regional tournament forms about ticket prices. I think clearing the gym makes sense but it should have been posted and announced the first night after each game was over that the gym would be cleared. Lack of communication is the biggest complaint IMO.

It won't be an issue in two years anyway and for this I am going to be very happy. Really can't wait for the new Bank of Kentucky Arena at NKU to open and the Regional games to move there. No longer will the host school have a huge advantage of playing on their home floor and the question of will the home team on the scoreboard get the home side of the gym and locker rooms when they play the host school.....

I guess that is a question to ask someone. If NDA came out of the lower bracket to play Holmes or any other loser from any district who wears the home uniform? NDA or the upper bracket team? I have always thought the district winner would be the home team, over a district loser no matter where each landed on the bracket. Right/Wrong?

Team in the upper bracket wears home jersey. Set by KHSAA. I guess that just decreases the chance of both teams bringing the same type of uni's.

It is that way in soccer. I think it is up to the region as a whole and it appears they decided on just a plain rotation.

As this may be true, Boone was the lower team in the district bracket and wore white due to being the #1 seed. I agree, that usually the team on top is the home team. I think the brackets at Ryle for districts were just set up wrong.

There will be plenty of room for parking at Boone. Us lazy American public will have to walk a little to get to the doors. At the end of the school there is a bus garage, that from what I have been told, will be torn down for parking purposes. There is alot of room at that end of the school.

When will Boones new gym be ready. From the outside it looks to be very large. Back to the thread. HHS played well. NDA is a much better team. The young Ladybirds will have their time. I was so impressed with Dickman, Drees and especially Tierney. Great players, good luck!

Has Nicole Dickman or Emily Drees declared where or even if they'll play in college? Oldguy maybe you could help me out on this one!
