From everything I've read, he hasn't attended any of the camps yet, and is the best player in the state of Michigan.....He plays on the best team in the state as well. His stock will skyrocket IMO. It's not just his coach who thinks that, it's pretty much the opinion of everything I've read on him. With recruits I feel it's best to reserve judgement until actually seeing them play...

That's my biggest problem with him is the "might" factor. The VAST majority of 3 Stars recruits aren't Chuck Hayes after 4 years. I hate reaching for recruits which is why I'm not exactly excited about this verbal. Also, he apparently was "in cahoots" with Michigan, and MSU and told them both he loved them and they were great fits..... Then 3 weeks later gave KY a verbal. I'm not even convinced he's going to come to KY and I won't be until he signs a LOI.

March 6, 200719 yr I can't believe that Hopson kid is #10. I saw him play and was not impressed. He is very athletic though. Hopson is the laziest player in the state of Kentucky and that includes Randolph Morris. Hopson is greatly overrated.

His potential is great and cannot be denied. I agree with everyone else about how lazy he is. But if a coach can get him to work hard and correct his bad habigs, his potential is enormous.

If I was the coach of that team I would say you either play hard or you can sit at the end of the bench and if you don't like it go somewhere else. It was a disgrace to his teammates. I don't care how much "up-side" he shows.
