12th Region Tournament Draw

Featured Replies

Perrin does get treated well from ref's around here but don't you think Miller and Overstreet get the same treatment when they play other smaller schools in the region? I wouldn't be calling anyone out just yet.

No, I don't think they get anywhere near the same kind of calls. Miller gets two fouls called on him nearly every game before half time. In which I understand, being the fact he is a 5'11" center (who can jump out of the gym).

If I remember correctly, Miller had two horrible calls against him Friday night in the first two minutes of the game.

Perrin received his first foul with around two minutes to go in the game. I can remember two obvious calls that were missed. One running down the court and an offensive foul in the fourth, where he elbowed (and knocked down) a LC player and then scored.

Not to mention the no call on the goaltending.......

So basically I disagree with you...

Will the cards get all the calls in the regional tournamet? They recieved 100% of the calls in District Tournament. Maybe officals from the 14th region will make the Cards earn what they get.

Are these Cards the Wayne County Cardinals?

yes

Im not so sure about all the calls...The SW Wayne game was evenly officiated as I saw it

You're completely wrong. I've watched West several times. They play a slow-it-down type of basketball and if you don't believe me, why are they at the bottom of the region in scoring? They never play uptempo and do not push the ball. The comment/opinion was totally wrong. Look at the stats!

With scouting reports like this, no wonder the Raiders went out in the first round.

Lincoln started to game playing man-to-man and Miller can't check Perrin man-to-man. No offense, because no one else in the region can check Perrin in those conditions, but that's why Miller got the two fouls early.

Perrin gets some treatment, but not nearly as much as the Lincoln fans want to believe. The thing about Perrin is that he's a smart player and doesn't commit dumb fouls. He jumps straight up, and with his long arms he is able to rebound the ball well, and even though it sometimes appears to be over the back, its usually just his length.

Bottom line for Lincoln is stop complaining. You did a better job against Perrin playing zone and you would be wise to do that in a regional final. Otherwise you'll be paying to get into Rupp like everyone else.

I never mentioned over the back. All I said is he gets away with a lot, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Like three seconds, fouls etc.

He is a great talent, no doubt about it. The other ex-Danville player (Williams)is the one killed LC in the district.

Who's complaining. Stating facts isn't complaining, it is simply telling the truth.

My main point was that I will be anxious to see how ref's from another region call the game against Perrin and his gang from Danville West.

They have cracked 80 points ONCE! That was against Fleming County in a 25-point win. They have scored 70 points once in the last 18 games.

That really doesn't look like that run-and-gun offense you were talking about.

I think it will be boyle and lincoln meeting for the 4th time of the season in the regional championship.
