12th Region Tournament Draw

These past couple of games, Wayne has had a tendency to get behind early. If they get behind early on West Jessamine, they won't have too many opportunities to get back with the slow style that West plays.

Hey man, that's no problemo at all my friend. If you don't like to read my stuff, more power to ya and to everyone else, thank you for your kind words.

Les,

If it doesnt pertain to the greatness of McCreary? He cant see it rationally. I have noticed that all year in his statements. So dont be offended. Your rational insight is obvious to most everyone

By the way, being from Lexington, I have seen West play several times? And they play uptempo, ranging from full court presses to the sideline break off free throws.

Everyone is taking SW over Somerset...It could very well happen but Somerset beat them by 15+ the last game...and lead the whole game at SW early in the season but SW hit a game winner...Not saying SW is bad just wondering why everyone thinks its automatic win for SW

You're completely wrong. I've watched West several times. They play a slow-it-down type of basketball and if you don't believe me, why are they at the bottom of the region in scoring? They never play uptempo and do not push the ball. The comment/opinion was totally wrong. Look at the stats!

Pride50, with the way you all played against PC, SW would beat y'all.

Hmm surprised you had something negative to say...Somerset lost to Pulaski bc of Pulaskis size advantage and rebounding...SW is a ton smaller which means Somerset should have the rebounding edge...Sometimes you have to give a team credit (PC) for playing good instead of dogging who played "bad"....Somerset didnt play that awful against PC and PC and SW are two different teams...means nothing about the PC game

Pride50 my guess is that no one is predicting an easy win for SW just that most feel SW will win in a close game. I can't see any game in the tourney that I would expect to be more than a 6-8 point game. The only thing that would shock me is if Wayne played well enough to win three in a row and won it. I think they are good enough to beat any team in it but not consistent enough to win three in a row.

Anyone know if they have put any new lights in at Lincoln's gym or will we need to bring our night vision goggles?

Championship Game

Lincoln

I think that Lincoln Co and Boyle Co. will meet for the 4th time. Will Boyle Co. make it three out of four? Playing at Lincoln Co. and they are tough on their home floor, so I think Lincoln will move on to the Sweet 16.

True Somerset has had there share of problems in close games..

I can somewhat agree, but they're 9-2 at home with losses to McCreary and Boyle. Boyle has took 2 of 3 games from the Patriots and are the better team. Pulaski is playing good ball, and if they don't try to become a one-man team, then they'll give Lincoln all they want... and more.

Both of their home losses came with Keaton out. He is by far their best offensive player. Maybe, the best all-around player on the team.

I can't say BC is the better team. They have the best indivdual player. I feel like having ref's from another region will hurt BC's play. Perrin seems to get the superstar treatment a lot around here. I have seen him play many times, he gets a lot of favorable calls from the 12th region refs.

Mainly because they are not used to calling a game with a guy as athletic as he is.

Perrin does get treated well from ref's around here but don't you think Miller and Overstreet get the same treatment when they play other smaller schools in the region? I wouldn't be calling anyone out just yet.
