Let me ask my question again. What district are you from in which these things do not occur?

Thirdly, you've never seen bad officiating? I have seen more of it this year than I have my whole entire life. Maybe you are an official and that is why you do not want to come down from your perch.

Yeah, I noticed that. Usually people dont' respond when they don't really have anything to back themselves up.

This is classic! Just so I have it straight, we have fans from both sides being ejected, broadcasters admiting they aren't nuetral (and can apprantely call a good game if anyone ever needs a ref), everyone from everywhere yelling at officials, and this was all defended when I pointed out this might be a bad environment for high school athletics.

 

But now, you want to call a group of kids no class for booing when the other teams players received awards? Classic. Any idea where they may have learned anything like that?

 

My perch is fairly strong.

 

My guess is that he is a referee to be so thin skinned about the comments regarding officiating. Perhaps with an ax to grind.

 

I know he's not a broadcaster because if he was, he would definately feel that same way I do. And by the way, I never said that I'm not neutral, but rather that it's hard to call a game neutral with the officiating that this district seems to have. Unless......see comment 1

 

And as for the comment about fans booing as other teams received their awards, they didn't learn it from the Gallatin County fans. Even during the girls game, those in attendance applauded the others receiving awards. Not to say that the Wildcat faithful aren't vocal, but they have the class enough not to boo when other kids are receiving awards or recognition.

Found something else to complain about did ya? I know in a week you will be on here again blasting the regional tourney.....Just as you did last year. I've been to several Simon games this year and probably need to warn of you of an old cliche: Those in glass houses should not throw stones.

Thanks Strike 3. It was a hard fought physical game. I will not complain about the officiating because it was just what I've come to expect. (Maybe a new tread on that later). Henry fought the battle worthy of a victor but Gallatin once again got the win. Gallatin is not a one man team, or a two man team. Henry put all their efforts into stopping Perkins and Edmondson. After 3 Quarters of trying to get these two into the mix it became time to let the rest of the team win the game and they did. Note to Coach Jones: Let Cody and Nate draw the best two defenders the other team has to offer. I'm sure the rest of the team would gladly win it for you,
