Two good, young teams. I believe niether team has any seniors, which makes me look forward to next year as well. I haven't got to watch Knox Central all that much, but what I have got to see of them they are a good, tall, athletic, well-coached team. Pineville lost to Central at Central earlier this year, but to Pineville's credit they are playing much better ball right now. Dustin Day has turned his season around and is the force we all thought he would be at the start of the year. But Day is not the only one, everyone wearing the maroon and gold seem to be clicking right now. James Strange and Day seem to be a very dangerous duo along with Dustin Warren's 3-point shooting. And even though they were able to beat Lynn Camp without Dustin Day playing 32 minutes, they will need him to show up and stay out of foul trouble tomorrow night. That being said I believe J.D. and his boys are going to bring the district championship to Pineville for the first time in awhile.

Knox Central by five.

Knox Central will be tough to beat at home. If they can keep Day from getting the ball in the paint......they win.

It could go either way in this game. Coaching will play a huge roll and Pineville obviously has the advantage in that department.

take smart shots- the games i have watched pineville play they have passed on smart shots and taken many bad ones..

keep day in the game- they need to keep him out of foul trouble and they need to feed him at the post as much as possible to open up the 3 ball because they are very capable of shooting..

 

Knox Central--

everything they did last time they played pineville...

take the ball to the paint- work the ball down low and get dustin day in foul trouble

shoot the ball- im not sure of the guys name.. but they have a player that is key to the game.. if he plays well, knox co. getting the win will be a whole lot easier...

get in their face- pineville doesn't seem to play real well when the defense is up in their face.. they like to have a little cushion

I'm going with the Mountain Lions. I like the way JD's got the boys playing right now. He has lots of big game experience and I believe it's time for him to get little Pineville over the hump. Let's go PHS!

Which Knox team is playing. They have been so inconsistant. If the good Knox shows up it will be a barnburner with Knox's numbers being the differance. If bad Knox shows up look for Day And Strange to have field days and an easy win for the Lions.
