This is a very tough decision for me. If you ask me for a player who I would want to build my team around, I take Justin Hicks. Can Hazard win without him right now? No! So it's easy, right?

 

Well, Powell got crushed 3 games at the first of the year without Ryan Romans. Can they win without him. Absolutely No!

 

I'm torn, but I think they are the final two. Stepp is a good high school player, and so is Zach Gay, but Romans and Hicks are in their own class in the 14th.

Hicks and Romans are probably the front-runners for this award. I would have to give the slight edge to Romans on his team impact, but Hicks has phenomenal numbers to back himself up. Romans although is averaging somewhere around 18 pts. and 13 reb. per game and has helped lead his team to the district championship game. If Powell makes a run in the region I would give it to Romans, hands down. Romans or Hicks deserve this award.

After watching Hicks play last night, I would have to give him the nod. The kid can play. Hazard goes as he goes.

Justin Hicks are been solid all year for Hazard.

Ryan Romans is a monster for Powell County.

Clark Stepp is a wizard with the ball for June Buchanan.

 

Justin Hicks is my pick because of his play in big games.

I would like to see Hollan win it for Breathitt, but i won't discount what Hicks, Stepp, and Gay have done from the other schools.
