Featured Replies

The Camels defeated Brossart for the second time this season in the semi-finals of the 37th District JV tournament 47-39. They will play Scott in the finals. Camels were led in scoring by Andy Franzen with 14, Chris Addie with 8 and Matt Coffman with 8. Brossart was led by Jacob Rieger with 10 and Greg Stortz with 8.

Good luck Coach Enzweiler and boys against Scott.

And by the way Coach Enz we would be proud to have you as an alumnus from Campbell County!!!! :sssh:

Coach Enz will always have the heart of a Mustangs!!!:sssh:

It appeared that cc slid four varsity players down to the jv game. The two strong sophs who have been playing a lot for the varsity (I'm not sure if they have started varsity lately or not) as well as two jrs that started earlier this year against Brossart's Varsity. This happened last year as well. Still, it was a good win for cc.

He is NOT, however.:sssh:

Who did they slide down?

Good win for camels. During the game though and seen this before, should the Brossart AD be so animated in the game with ref calls, including walking along the baseline indicating his opinion of the call? Does the Brossart principal do this? I think it takes away from the standard that Brossart is and is a little unprofessional. There is no other AD I witnessed do this.

Campbell will never come close to Brossart or Mel Webster's professionalism and I'll leave it at that.

By the way, they slid down Eten, Franzen, and Albricht(sp.)....

Albrecht didnt play...he was behind the bench with Nerl.....they have been starting varsity the last three weeks.

Great game with great intensity! Hats off to both teams!

Eten hasnt played in weeks do to a illness, and Franzen hasnt been playing much varsity do to Nearl getting time. If they had played Nearl and Albricht, Brossart would have gotten smoked. I dont see anything wrong with who played.

Sounds like striker needs to get the facts straight. Eten has not played for better part of 3 weeks not even dressed. He has been sick. Albrecht was at the game and cheered the Camels to victory, along with Nerl. Franzen has played limited varsity time for several weeks now. What is your point? And by the way, do not expect a free pass to suggest Camels will never come close to Brossart in professionalism. That is totally uncalled for and curious to know how such comments reflect on the Brossart community? We will leave it at that.:thumb:

Stayinline brought up the professionalism matter and I replied. How does it reflect the Campbell community when students and PARENTS stand up and cheer at a soccer game when a Brossart player gets hurt? And I will leave it at that...:thumb:

When did that happen. I dont recall, I went to all of the soccer games???
