Outside of being a canidate that could win, what do Republicans see in Rudi? I'm not trying to cause an arguement, I just would like to know.

9/11 made a hero out of Rudy, whether he deserved it or not.

I don't think he is electable.

^ I do....he is a man of tremendous conviction, while still having "average Joe" qualities.....the nation looks up to him, already....they just need to spin his publicity and he is an extremely marketable candidate.

I believe you are right, but what is it about him do you like? I know he is well known and he said the right things after 9-11. I would just like to know why I as a republican should get behind him as others have. Maybe I'm just too conservative to vote for him.

I think the biggest problem he's going to have with the conservative base is his marital and relationship history. And the concurrence of same.

I agree with you, I am too conservative for Rudy. But, I believe he is the only electable republican candidate.

 

I don't like his stance on gun control, abortion, or homosexuality. But, again it is going to take a moderate republican to win this election.

He turned the city of New York around....it was starting to become a slum...even in midtown...he swept the city clean...and the people of New York loved him....and that's a tough crowd to please :thumb:
