One more thing about Bonds while I have the chance to rip on. :lol: It's bad enough with the steroid trouble and fallout, but what really turned me against Bonds more than anything was his fallout with the Players Association. Its pretty sad when at one time you were the Michael Jordan of your sport and you refuse to be on video games, cards, tee-shirts, etc., all because you do not get a cut out of it. Guys in Barry's shoes should be the most diligent and humble players in the league when it comes to the fans, instead you couldn't go any further down hill when it comes to fan relations. Its factors like these that really turn you against a guy, and the sad thing is Barry cries of how he doesn't understand why he gets no love.

I've said before that I dont care if he used steroids.

 

He wasn't the first and he won't be the last..but he is often the most persecuted for it.

Baseball didn't care and turned a BLIND EYE when MLB was in the tank and McGwire and Sosa were bringing in the fans and tv contracts.

Maybe this one is final thank you from the Giants organization to Bonds. San Francisco doesn't view Bonds as the rest of the nation does. I would rather pay a player for what he has done in the past for my franchise than pay one ridiculous dollars for what he may do in future seasons, such as Randy Johnson or Alex Rodriguez with the Yanlkees.
