Did you not say that Parmley was the reason for the defense? I must have misread that because that would to me be a post claiming to at least know what he did for the scotties. "Parmley is what made them what they were just like he is doing at East this year" that is a claim to know just like I said in my post and as you pointed out I am entitled to my opinion on the matter. Facts are facts and you did make a post claiming to know. Either way the scotties are just fine in year two of the Arnett era.

Yeah and in my opinion Parmley made the defense go but that was my opinion about the team you made it personal and attacked me for having an opinion about the coaches. You can’t deny that you attacked me what you posted had nothing to do with opinion about the team. I never attack anyone on here even if I disagree with their opinion. I was the first and only poster for several years on this site that had anything to say about the Scotties and now are of you guys want to come in and attack me for being realistic. Again I love the Scotties and have for over 40 years but I’m also not going to set here and proclaim them this great team when they have serious deficiencies on defense. They have a very good team but not a great team in my opinion.

Coach Parmley is a great young coach. The evidence is there in what he is doing at Warren East in his first year as DC. But you say he is what made the defense go last season; why do you say this? As someone who is unable to attend practices and only a couple games per year, I am just genuinely curious as to what makes you think this. Maybe he played a much larger role on the defensive side of the ball last year than I realized? I’m not sure. Just wanting to know what makes you believe this.

As he states its opinion not based in fact because he does not actually know the coaches or staff. Do not question it because it will be seen as an attack if you point out facts to this person. You correct I have spent some time with Coach Parmley he is a great young coach and doing an excellent job at WE. Same can be said about Coach Herron. Both are doing a good job and will continue to do so.

I never attacked you and to say that I did is a bit ridiculous. I pointed out that your opinion was not based in facts. Enjoy your day the scotties will be just fine under their current staff.

So in all seriousness, what makes you have that opinion? Did Parmley have more to do with the defense last season than people think? Or are you literally just guessing? When I played all coaches helped on all facets of the ball team. In college and pros they may just coach their position but it’s normally not like that in high school. I’ve heard several people talk about how great a coach Parmley is and the defense was great last year. The major change is he left I can’t help but think that affected the defense so that’s my life of thinking on it. If you disagree that’s fine that’s your opinion but if you get on here and say I claim to know it all which I have never claimed and that I don’t know anything then that is attacking my character by the way I’m not referring to you I know you didn’t say that. You’re definitely allowed to have your opinion. I was just curious as to why you had that opinion. Saying a coach that wasn’t even the DC is what made them go was just surprising to me so I was curious if I was missing something or not.

Apparently you don’t know football, if you think Parmley made them go on defense.
