After Glasgow’s first loss in the regular season since 2024 they will be looking to get right and unfortunately EC is the next team on the schedule. Glasgow’s defense is concerning although probably not a worry in this game but for the remainder of the season. A shut out in this one would be a shot in the arm.

Edmonson is fresh off a somewhat surprising district victory over Adair Co. unfortunately that won’t be enough to get them a playoff berth they would have to win this one and then see how the tiebreaker’s shake out. They don’t have anything to lose in this game and can let it all hang out.

Who you got in this district matchup.

If he had more to do with the defense it wouldn't be an opinion it would be fact. 🤣

Did you not say that Parmley was the reason for the defense? I must have misread that because that would to me be a post claiming to at least know what he did for the scotties. "Parmley is what made t

  • Yeah and in my opinion Parmley made the defense go but that was my opinion about the team you made it personal and attacked me for having an opinion about the coaches. You can’t deny that you attacked

Will be very anxious to see how the Scotties bounce back in this one. Obviously, the Scotties are going to win this game, but I’m more so looking at how they go about business. Will they have some guys step up and become vocal leaders? Or will they pack it in for the year after a tough loss?

Will be a running clock before half time

Glasgow returns to the win column with a blowout.

Wouldn’t call the Wildcats win somewhat surprising, it definitely is especially considering their luck this season. That being said, when an awful matchup to have to host the Scotties coming off their first loss of the season. This one will get ugly quick.

What on earth has happened to Glasgow's defense this year? Is it a lack of talent/size? Coaching? Tough matchups? Please help me figure this out.

Losing their coordinator from last year has affected them a lot more than they would care to say I think they have pretty good size I think it’s a strength deal up front don’t see many lineman make tackles up front and you see to many tackles having to be made from safety’s and corners.

Their coordinator did not leave… Herron is still calling the defense.

Their special teams coordinator left to take the DC job @Warren East.

I was asking to get clarity on what on earth has happened. They had one of, if not the best defense in the state last year.

Parmley was what made them what they was just like he’s doing at East this year.

Coach Herron does a great job as do all the coaches in place at Glasgow. Last year was a very special year for Glasgow as they were very experienced on the defensive side of the ball. They graduated a lot of production on that side of the ball and are just inexperienced. Several sophomores and young guys contributing on that side of defense now and they’ll get everything sorted out. Coach Herron and coach Arnett are pros and they’ll be fine.

Where do linebackers come into play? Didn’t Glasgow lose all of their backers from last season?

They did loose their backers and both Defensive Ends.

Parmley did Special teams for the Scotties, didn’t do anything with the Defense last season. He is doing a good Job at East and I believe he’s running the same defense at East that the Scotties run.

For someone who acts like they are in the know about all things Glasgow you don't seem to know much about their coaching. Coach Parmley was a good coach and is doing a great job at WE but had zero to do with Glasgow defense outside of coaching a position. Coach Herron is a good rising young coach and Glasgow lost to a really good team last week. In two season they have lost two games with Herron as the DC that actually very impressive. If you attend practice you will see several things that the tops teams in the state are doing.

Back up dude, I never claimed to know anything about anyone. I’m just a former player with a deep love for a program that I have been keeping up with them for over 40 years. I don’t know any of these coaches and have never in any post claimed I did. Last time I checked this is a opinion site and if you don’t like what I post you don’t have to read it. I listened to games on the radio every since WCLU started airing them and over the last 40 years have been to more games than I’m sure anyone else on here has.
