The Central Yellow Jackets visit CAL on Friday for a district contest. In recent years, these two rivals have had some contentious battles with Central being the last team to defeat CAL back in 2024. Since that point, CAL has rattled off 29 straight victories. Central will bring their best effort, but will it be enough to stop CAL's streak of 1st half running clocks? Kickoff is set for 7:30.

🏃🏼‍♂️⏰early and often.

CAL 49-6.

RC in 1st half. CAL is at worst the 2nd best team in Ky.

Central is probably looking at three regular season wins. The talent has dipped and the schedule offers very few places to hide.

Brown and Burke should have a field day.

CAL big time.

Of note from last week, with his 5 TD passes against DeSales, Jackson Burke now has 101 career passing TDs. He is on pace to tie the single season passing TD record & fall just shy of the career passing TD mark with a season left to go.

He's a sure thing Mr. Football headliner next year. Though, I do think he'll be hard pressed to top his sophomore and junior seasons. He's setting the bar awfully high.

CAL continues their dominance in this game. I don't even know if they have a bad game, that they could be beaten this year.

Trinity is the only Kentucky team that could beat CAL this year.

Link to the game for anyone interested.

CAL should get WR Gaines Howard back for this one. He was a 1,000 yard receiver last year who has only played one game this year for about 3 total plays. Another weapon for Jackson Burke to work with. Gaines also started at safety last year.
