Not surprisiat O Cath with 28. Am surprised at O with only 7.

Totally different offense without G'way. That's like OC without Carothers.

Gotta go with the Devils 41-20. I think the devils speed on defense will be the difference.

Wow OCath!

3rd time down to the 5 yard line no points...Ashley to QB next week I hope

O simply is not a top 10 team in 5A with no Gway at QB. There were more problems than that but that is the most glaring. Move Ashley to QB and yes top 5 team again IMO.

Not trying to take anything away from OC but they are by no means 28 points better than O. Had G'way been there this game looks totally different. Thing is he's not and we have to use who we have. The Devils need to work on how they handle adversity. Too many heads down after only being down one score. But the BIGGEST issue of all is. We aren't near as physical as we were last year. O needs to take a deep look within moving forward.

Yards were very close 324 to 295 OC. We just can't score in close . Gway that's a much different game but OC moved the ball better than I thought they would.

Agreed.

Very surprised by this score. I expected the Devils to really try and show their physicality with Ganaway out and you just didn't see it. The Aces passing game was largely held in check but they trusted the run game and were able to control the clock.

Obviously the Devils need the QB back if they want to get back to Kroger Field. It truly is that simple for them.

The Aces defense looked much better than last week. It's hard to imagine giving up 40 to Apollo and holding Owensboro to 7.

Is Ashley really next man up?

No idea - he has a shoulder injury to some degree but he was a phenomenal QB a couple years ago and is really mobile. It's not Biggs fault but he was freshman QB last year I don't think he was even JV starter last year. Ganaway was the 1 position O couldn't lose.

I'm going to be honest, I'm worried over the next two weeks.

Can anyone explain how Apollo/Hancock called the game for lightning, but OC/O and DC all were able to finish their games?
