Pikeville sits at 2-1 on the season after taking down Class 1A # 1 Raceland Rams 37-30. Pikeville looks to extend the win total to 3-1 on the season with a win over Johnson Central this week who sits at 1-2 on the season. Do the Panthers send Johnson Central back home 1-3? Does Johnson Central get back to normal and even its record at 2-2 on the season?

Pikeville.

Pikeville is like a honey badger... small in size, but completely fearless. They'll poke anything, including EKY's wounded grizzly bear.

Pikeville wins a grueling, physical, low scoring game, similar to last week's JC/Belfry tussle.

This one is tough for me. Several opinions here:

This will be a great matchup for Eastern Kentucky fans. JC and Pikeville have been playing regular season games for four years straight counting this one. I'm sure they played earlier in their existences. But the last three years JC leads the series 1-2 with the past two years being beatdowns delivered by JC.
