I was afraid of this especially after his all-star snub. He has now struck out 9 of a possible 13 outs. UNREAL!!

Well Wheeler has now struck out 11 out of 15 possible outs as he struck out the side in the bottom of the 5th. We did get our 2nd hit a Stephenson single. lol

Not unreal for Wheeler it is unreal that we have so many guys on a major league team that cannot put the bat on the ball. We now have 847 strikeouts as a team just over halfway in the season. That is the 3rd worst in the Majors only the Pirates and Angels have more.

There are teams with a lower payroll than us that are doing a good bit better it is I think the person that is picking the players that we are paying for.

Reds lose 4-1 and adding to their league leading of having 15 or more strikeouts in a game as they had 18 tonight. A season high. So in 9 innings18 of the 27 outs were K's. Tomorrow night's game is at 7:00pm.

The Reds are pretty close to unwatchable for me.  You want to support your "professional" team but they're just super frustrating to watch because it's the same approach game after game.  I wonder if Marty B wishes he hadn't talked Francona into coming to Cincinnati to take over.  Of course it's hard to go to war with mostly inferior ammo and expect a successful outcome.  I haven't quite given up but I'm out the door and my key in the lock......
