Sara Heinrichs or Scott Millay?

I would love to see it be Scott, and I know he captained the team back in December when the head coach took a mid-season vacation.  Scott is a terrific guy and knows the game, hope he gets his shot if he wants it.

I will be sincerely dissapointed if it’s not Millay or Heinrichs. Both are extremely capable and have been great for the school.

If they want to go in a new direction, does it make sense to hire someone that was part of the old direction?

What do you see that tells you this wasn't anything more than Trame willingly stepping away on his own terms?

Players quitting in the middle of the year.

After 40+ years as one of the best coaches in NKY boys and girls basketball, it was time for the grand-kids.

Gotcha. I think you can go in a "different direction" with either Heinrichs or Millay. Both predate Trame in their association with St. Henry, especially Millay.

However, I can see your point if it is really toxic but the results really don't show that the same way they can be argued to do so in the case of Cooper (who had a radical decline down the stretch).

We all know what that means.

Not sure we do, you seem to want to create for us a negative scenario where St. Henry needs to disassociate from Coach Trame, that calls for much more of an explanation since most of us know him and what he has been over his long career.

I am among those who know what he has been over his long career. He is a great coach and good man. He was successful at Holy Cross, I think he got a raw deal at Walton Verona, then helped Coach Clink with the girl's program, and has had a couple of good seasons at St. Henry. I am not sure what he did before Holy Cross.

He is probably headed to the NKY Hall of Fame.

He was the boys coach at St. Henry before Faust and I believe before or after Ron Dawn. Danny also coach at Simon Kenton in the 90's. He won a region there.

100% Danny was not asked to resign.   Put that rumor to bed.  IMO he did a great job in his two years at St. Henry and had them going in the right direction.  Hopefully is successor will keep it going.  I agree a definite Hall of Famer.
