Got a baseball glove question for you diehards? What size glove is good for a 3B. My son's is a 12 inch Rawlings and someone indicated to me that a 3B needed a smaller glove. I had heard that about 2B and SS for turning the double play but had not heard that on a 3B.

11"-11.5", with "H" web...Is my preferred. No "Trapeze" web and conventional pocket, allow to much movement from transition (glove to hand).

 

"H" web, helps hold the ball in place, if not in the pocket. Depends on size of hand and age, also.
