The one that really sticks out is the 9th region, could have been McGillis/CCH and Blaackar/Lloyd.

In the 12th it could have been Ateny, Phillips, or Absher.  You could make a good case for any of them.

Just my opinion, but I do not like Mr. Basketball voting restricted to these regional winners only.

Amari Owen’s from Bryan Station at 25.6 pts per game and the new all-time scoring leader in Lexington High School basketball is a prime example.  Can’t be 16 seniors that are superior players in Ky.

I can't disagree with you, that's why I said I was surprised there were no co-winners.  But, I later read were they ruled out co-winners this year.

They had co winners on the girls side.

Campbell's Izzy jasyruia and the girl from GRC were co players of the year in the 10th region.

I would like to see the voting numbers for the 10 region because Austin Davie had a monster year as only a sophomore averaging 25 points and 8 rebounds. Does your team have to be a top team to win it?
