If that is all you are worried about, why do you reply to the comments posted? People make mistakes and spelling is not a big issue here. Now back to the freshman district tournament. Carroll did very well and Yager really stepped up for the Panthers. He hit all of the technical foul shots and I believe he had 15 against Gallatin. He will be a good asset for the Panthers.

Make sure that you aren't guilty also...seems like I have read a run-on sentence or two in other threads by a "happie pappie". :sssh: (Though it doesn't necessarily make me "happie" to point it out.) :lol:

He may have hit the free shots but Gallatin has the three best players in this class.

Even though it was against my Wildcats, props to young Mr. Yager for stepping up and hitting the foul shots. And congrats to Carroll for their district championship.

Gallatin County squeaked out a close one in the first game against Owen. They played with tenacity and never stopped. Carroll County had a pretty easy time with Henry with Gallatin watching.

 

The officials officiated all three games, and, by the last game, the calls were all over the place. They would let them get away with hacking and pushing, and then all of the sudden would call everything. From what the officials said, they Gallatin Co players were talking on the floor more than they should and were disrespectful. I cannot say if that is accurate as it was not obvious to the spectators. Giles got thrown out with two back to back technicals in the first quarter. It appeared this is what started everything.

 

Carroll County did an excellent job in maintaining composure and hitting shots that needed to be hit. But Coach Carlton went to battle for his guys and you can't really fault him for that. Any competition between these two schools is going to be charged, at all of the levels.
