Gallatin led 66-57 with 5:40 left. South scored the next 15 points to lead 72-66 and finished on a 32-13 run.

Boys need to find a way to finish strong. Almost like Owen County at 8th Region All "A". Can you give scoring?

5:40 was the beginning of the crazy part. Two Technical fouls given to Gallatin Coach Jon Jones forcing him to be ejected. Then a gallatin fan throws a cup on the floor and gets ejected. It was a very wild scene. Great game Though.

WOW!! Who were the referees and who tossed him?? I've seen him ticked before but what set him off like that??

Stiles 30 for South. I think 26 in the 2nd half, including 3 long bombs when the Dragons took the lead for good.

Gallatin was holding Stiles in check and leading in the game then decided to go zone, big mistake. Not the best player in the region but he can flat ... shoot. Then the may lay. took Gallatin out of the game. Both T's cost a possession, and they came almost back to back. Sitting on the same side as the S.O.'s students I will have to say ... Well I'm just glad my kid is not a student at South Oldham. Never seen such rude kids and this rudeness was condoned by the adults and the law officers present. UNREAL

Are we sure it was a Gallatin fan??? Sounds like the S.O. group were a bit more rowdy??

That is the only shortcoming that I have found with GC this year. Have things taken care of and relax and allow opponent to make a run. But South is not Owen and you can't get them to make the unforced errors to slow them down. Simpson boys dodge a bullett! Gallatin you have the depth to not have these lapses. We in this household believe you have the stuff to win the 8th. MENTAL TOUGHNESS!!!!

Don't want to take anything away from South Oldham's players or coaches. They had a good game plan and play hard. Good effort on their part and a good win in their win column.

Sad to say but YES. Maybe the seat he had wore off on him.

I don't attend as many games as I used to but it seems like a bunch of today's fans are really out of hand. Adults need to grow up, kids are watching.

As in past games I don't think "relaxing" lost this lead. They still had the intensity (they had just put together a 12-0 run of their own). Stiles got hot, the ball didn't bounce just right, and throw in the technicals and it was too much to overcome. They were still right there with 45 seconds left but South sealed it with FT's.
