Off season question for those smarter than me.  I know Coach Haywood was in his upper 60's when he led Belfry to the 2021 State title.  Who are some other head coaches who won in their later years?

He's 39 right now. I'm not sure exactly what his birthday is, but he would have been either 29 or possibly 28 when South Warren won in 2015.

2021: Belfry coach Philip Haywood was 70 when they won the 3A championship.
2006: Newport Central Catholic coach Bob Schneider was 68 when they won the 1A championship.
2005: Russell coach Ivan McGlone was 67 when they won the 2A championship.
2008: Bell County coach Dudley Hilton was 60 when they won the 4A championship.

He turned 28 at the beginning of the 2022 football season. Bullitt East won 6A on December 3, 2022.

Garnis Martin was 58 when he won his last one in 1981.

Coach French is a 1969 Berea Community High School grad...so figuring he was 18 when he graduated, born in 1951, that would put him roundabout 59 when Boyle County won 4A in December 2010.
