In today's Mel Kiper's first mock draft. He had the Bengals taking Ohio State Safety Caleb Downs from Ohio State.

My goodness you must have had to dig deep for find that one. Tell us the name of the guy who put this out. The one that the whole league and talking heads look at (and I will list his name) Mel Kiper has the Bengals taking from Ohio State safety Caleb Downs.

He also has the Steelers taking with the 21st pick WR from Washington Denzel Boston.

About as spot on as the Steelers staying "Spot On" hiring McCarthy I guess they are happy how the last 9 years have went around .500 and if you make the playoffs out the first weekend. Instead of hiring a young coach who could bring some new life in the organization. I guess they wanted to hire a coach that is closer to the players ages on the Steelers. lol

That is a lot of money, good for those guys, but I would like to see the players at the bottom of the rosters guaranteed more money, including practice squad players. We can't have the majority of high level college football players making more money than numerous pro football players.

Per The NFL Network, the salary cap is jumping $20 million to just over $303 million for next season. Below is the updated salary cap situations for teams, per the website Spotrac. Currently, the Cincinnati Bengals have the seventh most available cap space, at $54.6M.
