Some one always seems to have there best game ever in this game. Usually someone from Xavier.

I don’t know if it’s me, but this game has seemed to lose a lot of its popularity, even in Cincinnati compared to what it used to be. It doesn’t get the attention that I’ve noticed compared to longer ago.

Definitely not as popular as it was in the 90's and early 2000's.

It was definitely bigger during the times of Hiuggins at UC and when Gilen and Prosser was at Xavier, no question.

Yes when the coaches did not like each other or each other's schools and had no problem letting that be known.

Didn't hurt that Cincinnati was a perennial top 25 team and Xavier was just on the outside of that and was always a threat to make a run in March.
