Chris Gaither went from being placed on administrative leave on December 19th, 2025 (and of course, that's following his initial suspension with pay that lasted from November 17-25, 2025), to being "no longer with the district as of Jan. 15".

As of January 20th, the Shelby County Schools spokesman, Josh Rhodes, told WHAS News in Louisville that the school district is still "actively addressing the issues that have come to light."

    That last sentence makes me wonder if there could be some sort of potential criminal action coming from this!

    That's definitely what my takeaway was from that sentence, yeah.

    Any updates on the legal actions pertaining to this subject?
