Pope’s halftime thoughts

Not the best start to the 2nd half came out a bit flat. imo

49-41 Cats.

I like a lot better how the Cats came out after the under 16 media timeout.

60-50, Cats

8:17 to go

Otega with 10 pts

66-52, Cats up

4:57 to go

74-57, Cats

Under 4 timeout

Cats after the first 4 minutes of the 2nd half have played very well especially on the defensive end.

78-65 FINAL

How about those Cats, they looked great!

They looked great! Glad I missed beginning of the 2nd was listening on radio and it didn’t sound good.

Well balanced game by everyone that played

Nice win!

Final Box Score

I turned the game on 2 minutes after it started so I missed the starting 5…. Here you go!

Only an exhibition, but this team is going to be fun to watch. Shooters on shooters on shooters. Athletically, a total 180 from last year's team, and that was without Quaintance.

I was especially impressed with Jasper Johnson's first performance. He is so smooth and just seems to make things look so easy, and never seems to get flustered. I did not expect much out of Moreno for this year. I thought he was going to need some time to grow into his frame, but he seems far ahead of where I thought he would be. Finally, Trent Noah looks like a totally different player physically than he did last year, and I think he is poised to have a year where he forces the staff to keep him on the floor.

Go Cats!
