Leslie County coach suspended two games for inappropriate language

Featured Replies

Must have been bad because I'd say football coaches use colorful language from time to time.

How times have changed. I am not advocating profanity or verbal tirades but 30 years ago players and/or parents would have not reported this and if they did it would have been a "nothing burger."

8. Any attempt to use or suggest profanity is prohibited. This means you may not use symbols to replace some or all of the letters in a word that might otherwise be blocked by the BGP word filter. Any attempt to circumvent the word filter with general abbreviations or text message abbreviations will also be considered a violation under this rule.

Some context would probably help in this case. There are some pretty significant differences in the use of swear words —whether just spoken, spoken at someone, or spoken to a group —and in the tone accompanying them. There are also a couple of absolute no-nos and then a couple of more mild words.
