Apollo goes to Brown Badgett Stadium in Madisonville to take on the Maroons in a big district match-up. I am anxious about this one because I would like to see how the Red Devils match-up with Madisonville. If it is close or Apollo wins I don't think our game will be close.

I like Madisonville 28-7 in this one. Catholic ran for over 300 yards against Apollo and I envision the same type of success for MNH.

Apollo beats Graves 14-7 Madisonville beats Graves 23-20 in OT

This will be a close game. I really think if Apollo wins that Madisonville will get blown out by us.

I’ve thought for weeks that Apollo CAN win this.  They are going to score.  I think the Eagles will load to stop the run,  Hampton ran wild on Apollo for Owensboro, but Owensboro is much more diverse passing the ball with Dillard/Morris/Bryant on the outside and Ashley at TE,  MNH won’t have that. Apollo is a top 12 team in 5A IMHO and this game CAN be close.  I think Hightower still has a bang up night for about 200 and 3,  Can Apollo out score them.  Being in MNH will cost Apollo a little, but graves kept it close there and Apollo is much better offensively..  If one team wins the turnover battle by 2 or more, that team will win.

MNH 42-28.  Close until MNH scores mid 4th to put it away.
