Very unique. Worth going to see a game. 

One of the funnest games I've watched was there, a 68-46 Tilghman win against them in 2016. 

Tilghman had 971 yards total offense in that game. Murray had 499. It was fireworks all night long. 

Very much need to go see a game there for those that have never been.

It’s a little Highlands’esk from the where the North endzone butts right up to the Middle School (old Murray High). The scoreboard is actually on a wall of the school.  No track around the field & the football field is actually left + center field for baseball.

And it’s not one of those fancy scoreboards, when you’re present for a game it doesn’t feel like you’re living in 2025. A true blast from the past.

Past years you're correct but I may have spoken to soon bc Mr. Crowe from Paducah should also be in this conversation...wow far west has 2 that maybe the best all the way up to Bowling Green.

What a track meet!  Murray comes out on top at the end of the night.  A 34 yrd FG was the difference.  McCracken had a similar FG before the half go wide right.  2 of the best kickers in the state had a busy night.  I believe MCracken’s K is #1 in the nation in his class! 

This game was very chippy from the start.  Looks like these teams don’t like each other or there was something personal going on, not sure.  There were several unsportsmanlike flags throughout the game.  I counted at least 4 offsetting penalties on top of late hit flags and a couple the refs missed.  It added to the intensity of the game.

Murray’s defense seemed out of sync and out of character all night. They dropped 3 clear interceptions that turned out to be 21 points.  They also gave up a kickoff TD at the end. Credit to McCracken for coming out swinging.

I didn’t understand the last kickoff from the Mustangs.  After being down 10 with 2 mins in the game. McCracken runs the kickoff for a TD and closes to 59-56.  They decide to kick it deep instead of the onside kick. Mustangs only had 1 time out and had not stopped Murray all night outside of a fumble the Tigers has earlier in the game.  They did have 2 unsuccessful onside tries earlier in the game so maybe they thought they would could not recover.  Just thought it wasn’t the right call.  Murray was able to get a first down and kneel to end the game.
