3 games to go and a game out of the playoffs. Can the Reds make up the one game needed.

First off the Mets need to lose at least one game to the pitiful Miami Marlins. Leading 2-0 in the 5th in game one of their three game series.

Reds need to win one more game against the Brewers this weekend than the Mets win. No room for slip ups now.

They are down 4-2 now to the Marlins.

It is now 6-2 Marlins.

Brewers' pick up a run in the bottom of the 3rd and led the Reds 1-0.

Reds tie it a t 1 after a double by Lux and a single by Steer!

Reds had a chance for a big inning as they had the bases loaded with 1 out, but Hayes hits into a double play. Tied at 1 after 3 1/2 innings.

The Marlins had an inning ending double play botched and the Mets have life still trailing 6-2 in the top of the 8th inning.

My goodness another error by Elly on a routine grounder that would have ended the inning and that puts Littell out of the game he did a good job tonight. I hope that error don't come back to bit us. That was his 26 error of the season!

The Reds get a double by Lux and makes it to 3rd on an error by the left fielder and then Andeujar singles him in then the Reds get a break as Elly hits a ground ball that could have been a double play but the ball hits the 2nd base bag and now the Reds have runners on first and 3rd with no one out, and the Brewers are making a pitching change.

Miami wins!!!!!

Mets fall to Marlins 6-2!! The Reds have scored 2 in the top of the 6 to lead the Brewers 3-1. Let's go bullpen!!

Reds control their own destiny.
