There is a cap on margin of 35 pts to keep teams from having higher rating from running up the score on weaker opponents. Out of state teams played are not counted in the ratings. These are posted on Wednesdays each week.

• I know early season lacks data but how do your numbers (or at maybe results is the better word) compare with RPI by the end of the season?
• How do your numbers compare with other ratings systems like Calpreps and Maxpreps?

Last year during playoffs it was close to Calpreps in picking winners. I'll look at it again this year and see how it does. I haven't compared to RPI but I would be surprised if their better because they don't look good.

I think for this year during playoffs I'll track pick win % for TP94,HSRatings(OldCalpreps), RPI, Massey, and Maxpreps.

I don't know when the RPI is coming out, but I trust TP's power rankings over whatever we are about to see from the RPI 10 times out of 10.

I’m almost positive in the past couple of years it always came out around week five.

That margin in 3A between CAL and #2 Lloyd is insane - but it looks accurate.
