The Holy War.

Lex Cath enters winners of 3 straight. After the loss to Ballard, they’ve knocked off Dunbar, Boyle, and Great Crossing. They seem to be peaking and playing great ball right now under first year HC David Clark.

LCA enters with the opposite record at 1-3. Those losses? Boyle, CAL, and Franklin. Not necessarily an easy road, but they do have a common opponent.

Should be a great game. Who wins?

LCA has Nash Whelan, an absolute offensive juggernaut with both his legs and his arm. Lexington Catholic, on the other hand, has found their success behind the strength of their defense and controlling the pace of the game. This should be a fun one with a slight edge to Catholic. However, if it becomes a boat race LCA will probably be victorious.

LCA is finally healthy. I expect this to be a really good game.

Penix coming back? Are they going to put him at QB after the way Whelan is playing? Or are you talking about someone else coming back that has missed games?

I have not heard about Penix coming back yet. It could be, but I am not sure. Even if he comes back, I believe the plan was to always play both.

I was talking about others. Since the North Hardin game, LCA has been without 5-6 starters every game. At one point, they had three starting LBs not dressed.
