The Broncos of Frederick Douglass (1-3) take the trip down I-75 to take on the Redhouns of Corbin (3-1). The Broncos picked up their first win of the season Friday night with a 40-7 win over Tates Creek to extend their undefeated streak vs. all schools in Fayette Co. It was a much-needed win for the young Broncos as they had opened up with a murders row to open the season with losses vs. Highlands, Trinity, and Manuel. The Redhounds are coming off their first loss of the season a 28-21 loss to Pulaski Co. This will be the 3rd all-time meeting between the two programs. Corbin defeated Douglass 6-0 at Corbin back in 2023. The Broncos returned the favor by defeating the Redhounds 35-14 last year at "The Farm". I think for the folks in 4A this will be a good measuring stick for the contenders for the 4A crown as during the regular season Highlands, Corbin, and Boyle Co. will all have played the Broncos. The game is scheduled for a 7:00pm kickoff. At this time I am not sure of streaming possibilities. Go Broncos!!

Give me FD and I don’t think it’s really close either. May not be a clock runner but a game where it never feels in jeopardy.

I hope you are correct but I would be happy with just a win. The Broncos maybe starting a freshman a quarterback.

“Measuring stick” is definitely the right phrase here because I think this is hard one to predict but the result will help define where these teams are. I still think Corbin is struggling to find their identity, even with their 3-1 record. Don’t count them out here but it’s going to be a tall order for them to hang around in this one.

35-14 Douglass. Those Redhound twins are long gone to UK, and thanks to QB Jayden Guzman, the Broncos now have a vertical passing attack for the first time in a few seasons. 

Very interested to see the Corbin defensive alignment in the 1st quarter. Will they respect the pass, or will they stack the box and risk getting shredded through the air?

Does anyone on here who follows Corbin any any info or links for streaming of tonight's game?

For some reason Corbin never really steams their games. Makes no sense. There are a ton of people who would stream down there.

Two years ago the game was streamed so I was wondering thanks.

Interesting that Corbin set kick off at 7, when all their other home games start at 7:30, and I-75 south is now a 2 and a half hour drive due to construction...

That is interesting.  When was that time set?  Why didn't the Douglass powers that be push back?

Dunno @theguru Kids probably jumped at the opportunity to leave class early for a 88 mile trip lol.
