Stat Info

Featured Replies

Where do yall get stat info nowadays? I’m old school and we used to have to call in the stats on Friday night or Saturday morning and KHSAA would have them entered pretty quick.  At the very least, the papers would have a box score printed.  It seems like it can take days to get a stat line from a HS game in KY now.  Any suggestions appreciated.  TIA

For individual game stats, go to the Riherds scoreboard https://scoreboard.12dt.com/scoreboard/khsaa/kyfb25 As @MaddenCurse44 said above, stats are there by Monday. Some teams get them loaded as early as Saturday .

For statewide stats for the season, use this link https://khsaa.org/sports-sport-activities/fall/football/However, the first stats report of 2025 will not be available until 9/22.

I think is almost completely on the team and how fast they report their stats.

Coaches have to (are supposed to) report their scores to Arbiter by midnight the night of the game.  Then a lot of teams use MaxPreps to report the stats for the game.

Murray High has logged 75,78,70, and 76 SOLO tackles in their first 4 games! This seems high, right?? Can other schools' players compete with these type of stats. Is this a common practice? Who does defensive stats for the teams, team media people or team stat coaches?

Teams showing stats like that are exactly why people roll their eyes at high school tackling statistics. Here you've got Murray saying they had 75 solo tackles against Apollo, while Apollo only shows 34 pass attempts and 23 rushing attempts in the game. That makes for 57 offensive plays to have solo tackles on...so I guess that means Murray tackled Apollo's punter and PAT kicker for the remaining 18 plays?
