Campbell County comes to Cooper after falling at Highlands. Cooper coming of the upset victory over Ryle.

Cooper is starting to find their identity on offense but will have to replace a three year starter on the offensive line after he went down in the 2nd qtr vs Ryle. Cooper defense played a fantastic game vs Ryle coming up with a big pick six and holding Ryle to 13 points.

Campbell County seems to be putting up solid number on offense and I know they have an athletic QB that can run and throw.

This will definitely be the weakest defense Cooper has seen so far this year, but that's no slight. Cooper's schedule to this point has been brutal.

Good luck to both teams and hopefully both stay healthy thru this week.

  • Really hard to sit in the stands sometimes. Campbell County fans yelling cmon coach after Cooper gets a pick 6 off a receiver deflection. Ball hit him in the hands. In what world is that the coaches f

I don't think it would matter if they caught Cooper with a real hangover, like the one @Colonels_Wear_Blue is going to have after his 4 day bourbon fest. Cooper 45-14.

Cooper improves to 2-0 and the task of picking a 5A favorite still remains up in the air between 4-5 teams.

2-0? We're just not going to count the loss to Anderson, OH or Highlands? That sounds fair to me lol.

Somehow 2-2 turned into 2-0 whoops!

Any chance Campbell catches Cooper with a "happy hangover" from their triumph in the Battle of Union?

After seeing these two in back to back weeks, I would say no chance. Campbell Co. can move the ball a little on offense. The QB (Lucas) is decent throwing and running. WR (Earls) does a nice job making some big plays. The issue with the Camels is on defense. I don't think they can stop Cam and Maher. Cooper hasn't put up a ton of points in the first 3 weeks but they have faced 3 solid defenses. This is the week they light up the scoreboard.
