Beechwood 48 Dixie 7

Featured Replies

Total domination by the Tigers.

Beechwood speed is just insane. They can take any play to the house at anytime. Queen looks very comfortable in only his 2nd High School start. Defense is playing well but will give up the occasional big play. If they continue to get better each week they will be tough come playoff time.

I thought so on Fryman/the overall speed too.  Beechwood is a force again this year.

Cov Cath will be the measuring stick until the playoffs start.

No doubt, after CCH pretty much everyone else on the schedule is either bad or terrible.

Agreed on Beechwood's speed.  I thought they'd lose some of that with graduation last year, I was wrong.

Beechwood

Rushing 27 carries 151 yards 2 TD

Passing 12-23 296 yards 3 TD

Under 150 yards total offense.

Everything is fine.

Agree .. Think this game says more about how bad Dixie is vs how good Beechwood is.  Last week Dixie couldn’t stop the run, this week couldn’t stop anything.  Time will tell and Beechwood may be really really good due to the overall speed but seems Dixie went from mediocre or perhaps solid but disappointing the last few years to just bad.

4th year under Coach Burke with over 20 seniors. That's supposed to be the type of team that makes a statement.

I get what your saying 100% but it's hard to take away from how good Beechwood is. They did what they were suppose to do and that's what great teams do. Like I said from the way Badin's offense was clicking I didn't see anyway that Beechwood was not scoring 50+.

Good news for Dixie. Outside of Cooper, the district is wide open for a home playoff game!

And that's what is wrong with Kentucky football playoffs.  You could have a 4 win team hosting a playoff game.

No 4 win team should make the playoffs, let alone host a playoff game.

What's the solution?
