Belfry on the march near the JC redzone when play resumes.

Belfry going for it on 4th down inside the JC 20..... incomplete pass. Turnover on downs.

JC goes ahead after an 81 yard drive that chewed 8 minutes off the clock. Vintage Golden Eagles.

12-7 ?

JC has the ball back, in Belfry territory at the 36, with :50 to go till halftime.

Timeout Golden Eagles.

Braxton Perry takes a pitch and goes 74 yards to the house, leaving Belfry's pursuit in the dust. JC misses out on another XP. Could be costly later on.

18-7 JC

    Belfry driving into JC territory.

Varney leaves it in the gut of his fullback, who pops one 49 yards for a Pirate touchdown. JC lands a haymaker, Belfry fires back with one of its own.

    18-14 JC

JC very nearly houses the ensuing kick-off. They'll have it at the Belfry 3.

JC immediately punches it in to push the lead back out to two scores.

    2 pt conversion is good.

    26-14 ?

Belfry turns it over on downs at midfield. JC ball, still leading 26-14.

Belfry gets it back, but disaster strikes immediately when Varney is strip sacked and the ball is recovered by JC in the endzone for a Golden Eagles touchdown.
